Discover how the priory functioned between its foundation in the late 11th century and dissolution by Henry VIII. Join us for a special tour which will take place in Greenwell’s Pit, the first mine to be excavated at Grime's Graves in 1868-70. Normally closed to the public, Greenwell’s Pit is remarkably well preserved and has many objects still in place where they were deposited by the Neolithic miners.
