North of England
'Action' dads and adventurous kids will enjoy becoming a Roman soldier for a day under the watchful eye of our Roman Centurion at Chesters Roman Fort up on Hadrian's Wall (Sat 16 & Sun 17 June). An adventure awaits in South Yorkshire too, with a chance for dads and junior knights to practice their sword skills and witness hand-to-hand combat displays at Conisbrough Castle (Sat 16 & Sun 17 June).
If your dad prefers a slower pace treat him to a day out at Brodsworth Hall in South Yorkshire, where a majestic array of classic cars will be on display (Sun 17 June).

The Midlands
Are you ready to take on armoured knights on the medieval battlefield? Dads and junior knights can hone their skills at Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire (Sun 17 June) and Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire (Sun 17 June), under the watchful eye of the master tutor.
If your dad is looking for a bit of peace and quiet, there are plenty of beautiful properties to visit in the Midlands, from picturesque manor houses to romantic ruined castles.
The East of England
We've got the ultimate day out for dads at Audley End in Essex this Father's Day, as a beautiful collection of classic cars will be on display at this stunning stately home (Sun 17 June). Amongst the impressive vehicles on display will be a 1967 Volkswagen split screen camper, a 1064 Jaguar and a 1954 Austin Healey. Once your dad is all motored out, make sure to explore the beautiful landscaped gardens and treat him to lunch or afternoon tea in the café!

We've an action-packed anniversary weekend lined up at Apsley House near Hyde Park Corner, as we commemorate the famous Battle of Waterloo (Sat 16 & Sun 17 June). If your dad loves his history he'll have a great time meeting Wellington's soldiers and finding out more about life during the Napoleonic Wars.
There's plenty to discover elsewhere in the South of the country too, with coastal castles, beautiful countryside and the iconic Stonehenge to explore in the South West, and famous battlefields, secret tunnels, and mighty castles in the South East.
