Please find below the information required to book one of our Holiday Cottages.
If you have made your choice of cottage, check availability on our website then contact our Reservations Team on 0870 333 1187 to make your booking.
Booking office opening times
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Saturday 9.00am to 5.00 pm
- Sunday and Public Holidays Closed
You can discuss your cottage choice and dates you wish to stay with one of our advisers who will confirm availability for you.
To confirm your booking we require a deposit and this can be paid by credit or debit card. Payments can also be made by cheque.
OR
You can ask for the cottage to be held for you for 7 days whilst you talk to friends or family. This provisional booking will be cancelled automatically if the deposit is not paid within this 7 day period. Payment can be made by contacting our Reservations Team by telephone with a credit or debit card.
Full payment is due 8 weeks before your holiday start date. On receipt full details of your cottage with directions, key collection and local contacts will be sent to you.
All bookings are subject to VAT.
All full week bookings begin on a Friday, except over Christmas and New Year when other start days may apply. For bookings of two weeks or more, each week will be priced in the date band it falls in.
Supplements may be charged on certain cottages on specific dates where demand is high due to a special event locally. English Heritage reviews its pricing annually and may move cottages up or down in the price bands.
There are two lengths of short break:
- 3-nights starting on a Friday
- 4-nights starting on a Monday
