1860-1 by Clegg & Knowles. The first purpose built Greek Orthodox church in Great Britain which was funded from donations by Greek merchants and immigrants from the island of Chios. Its iconostasis is adorned by 19th century icons painted in 1863 by the Greek painter Theodore Vryzakis.
