Facilities at Aydon Castle

Parking

Free car park with 20 spaces located 100 metres down the lane from castle. There are also six disabled parking spaces.

Food and Drink

Site serves tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Additional facilities available in Corbridge (2 miles away).

Picnic Area

Picnics welcome - benches available in main area and in the orchard.

Shop

Shop selling select range of English Heritage gifts is within the ticket office.

Toilets

Male and female toilets, with baby changing facilities, available. Accessible toilet available.

Dogs

Dogs on lead allowed. Assistance dogs welcome.

Gardens

Flat grassed areas located within the walls with some seating. There is plenty of space for children to run around. Ball games are permitted, but no kites please.
