The Great Tower is a medieval experience like no other! There's so much to see and do, from jesting with the court jester, Roland the Farter, to discussing important issues with King Henry II himself as he goes about his daily duties. Throughout the year, meet and interact with a variety of different characters from Henry II's court as you explore amazing rooms over three floors - all fit for a king!
On days when costumed characters are not at hand to gossip over medieval court life, look out for ghostly projections of the inhabitants who live in the Great Tower. As you wander through the atmospheric rooms, you might even overhear whispers in dark corners as you follow the story of King Henry's struggle to control his rebellious sons!
Whilst you might get totally absorbed in medieval life, don't forget there's a lot to see and do outside the Great Tower!
