Bede's World – The Museum of Early Medieval Northumbria at Jarrow

A short walk from St Paul’s Monastery is Bede's World, a museum that celebrates the extraordinary life of the Venerable Bede. It hosts an interactive Age of Bede exhibition, a recreated Anglo-Saxon demonstration farm, museum and shop. Inside there is also a cafe in the refurbished Jarrow Hall.

St Peter's Church, Monkwearmouth

The twin monastic site of St. Peter’s is today a parish church, and can also be visited. It contains an exhibition about St Peter’s Monastery.
