Winchester City Museum

The displays at the City Museum tell the story of Winchester’s history. Various finds and pieces of architectural stone from Wolvesey Palace can be seen.

Winchester Cathedral

Adjacent to the palace lies the magnificent Winchester Cathedral, whose history is closely intertwined with that of Wolvesey Palace. The cathedral was developed, re-fashioned and adorned by successive bishops, and houses their chantry chapels and memorials.
