Non-diver opportunities

By its very nature, maritime heritage is often submerged and therefore inaccessible to the majority of the population.

Foreshore sites on the other hand are accessible to many more people and are fascinating sites to visit and find out more about.

Out of the 46 English sites designated under the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973 both the 'Amsterdam' and the wreck at Seaton Carew can be accessed at low tide.
