A messenger arrives with startling news. Will the Abbey be closed? How will you prevent your treasure from being stolen? Dress up in the monks' habits and through drama, music and exploration re-enact what it was really like to have been a monk during the reign of Henry VIII. Understand the Dissolution by journeying back in time with the abbot who will show you how to become a successful novice monk and involve you in a true and dramatic story relating to the Abbey. Optional extra – make a day of your visit by picnicking in the extensive grounds and exploring Cleeve in conjunction with the book “Brother Cedric and the missing sheep” and its set of objects relating to the story and site.
