Discover what it was like to be a Victorian servant in the setting of Lord Mansfield’s suburban home. Help prepare for a grand party and enjoy hands-on activities in part of the house not normally open to the public.

How can you keep a 17th century site sustainable beyond the 21st century? View and consider changing landscapes and explore this fascinating estate using key geography skills such as using a compass and reading a site map. A thought-provoking practical session to encourage geographical skills.

Face To Face

Create your own self-portrait having de-coded superb portraits in the Kenwood collection. What makes a portrait? What messages were people trying to convey with their choice of pose and props? This practical workshop discusses the elements of a portrait and uses splendid examples at Kenwood to stimulate observation and imagination.

Feeding A Victorian Household

In Victorian times this grand house got much of its food from the farm in its own grounds. Learn about the farm and the dairy in a fun and hands-on session and go behind scenes in the dairy which is not normally open to visitors.
