'A Lasting Legacy' is English Heritage’s action plan setting out our proposals for ensuring that England’s historic environment has a full role to play, not only throughout the Cultural Olympiad and the Games themselves, but in securing lasting sustainable benefits in the years that follow.
English Heritage became involved from the early stages through our statutory responsibilities in planning and archaeology, and this has continued as the construction programme and event planning picked up pace.
Various projects are being developed across England, which will be reviewed and updated throughout the course of the Cultural Olympiad.
