The first edition of Volunteer Focus, our new magazine highlighting the role of English Heritage volunteers.
Volunteering is a crucial part of the work we do at English Heritage. It is a fantastic way of engaging people with the heritage that lies all around them - ensuring that it is understood, valued, cared for and enjoyed through active participation.
We plan to develop our volunteer programme so that there are more opportunities for people who want to get involved in our work, and more information about how to take part. As part of this we want to celebrate the marvellous work volunteers already do; there is a lot we can learn from your experiences, skills and enthusiasm for heritage. Above all, we want you to feel connected with the values of English Heritage and to receive the maximum benefit from your voluntary experience with us.
