Ground shot of mining in Scordale Valley taken on 04-APR-2005. Episodes of storms and flooding in the valley have caused erosion and destroyed some of the mining remains. English Heritage survey staff were invited by Defence Estates to visit Warcop, to evaluate the potential for more survey work.
