Ringborough Coast Artillery Battery (NMR20123/4)
The Ringborough World War II Coast Artillery Battery gun emplacements and associated camps photographed on 01-SEP-2004. Originally positioned on the cliff top north of Grimston this site comprised a battery of three guns and a camp for the servicemen. By 2004 nothing much is left: the coastline has receded further and is now threatening the Battery Observation Post, the magazine platform and the modern farm buildings. © English Heritage. NMR.
