Rolston DMV (NMR17419/3)

Medieval settlement and ridge and furrow at Rolston photographed on 17-JAN-2000. The ditches divide the area into three main enclosures that show traces of a former occupation of indistinct form, but presumably tofts. It is clear that the monument is suffering from some erosion caused by the presence of livestock. © English Heritage. NMR.
