One great way to see 'Audley 1880: Real Life Below Stairs', the new visitor experience at Audley End this winter is to visit during one of the Festive Fun Weekends. They are suitable for all ages and an enjoyable day out for any group visiting the East of England.
FESTIVE FUN WEEKENDS AT AUDLEY END HOUSE & GARDENS
Get into the festive spirit at Audley End House and Gardens.
Step inside the service wing, feel the heat of the fire in the kitchen and see the servants busily preparing for Christmas at the great house. The servants will be frantically working away cooking seasonal dishes, such as Christmas puddings and mincemeat pies.
A costumed storyteller will regale audiences with tales of Christmas past from the grandeur of the state rooms of the house and visitors will be able to choose from a variety of Christmas gifts and stocking fillers in the Audley End Great Hall.

AUDLEY END – A SIGHT IN ALL SEASONS
This is the perfect place to witness the changing seasons as the magnificent trees in the surrounding parkland change through a spectrum of colours and finally shed their leaves exposing new vistas. Visit during February and spot the first signs of spring as the snowdrops peek out from the shade of the ancient trees.
(Please note the house (but not the service wing, garden and tea room) is closed for conservation from 1 Nov – 31 Mar, except for Festive Fun Weekends).
