Celebrate St George’s Day as The Dragon prepares for battle!
St George’s dastardly foe, the fearsome dragon, has been spotted sightseeing in London ahead of his battle with England’s patron saint at celebration events across the country this weekend.
English Heritage's 13 foot long beast escaped for some rest and relaxation from his training this week and headed to the capital to take in some top sites. He managed to make quite an impression on tourists and business men and women alike but soon showed his softer side, posing for photos and making furry friends in Hyde Park.
Celebrate England’s patron saint and see the dragon in action for yourself this weekend at one of the exciting events being held across the country. The extravaganza festival at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire is the biggest of the lot where the ultimate showdown between St George and The Dragon takes place!
