Group visitors to Somerset sites can now delve deeper into the past by booking special guided tours with our knowledgeable site staff who know the properties like the back of their hands.

Then, near Langport, explore the once wealthy Benedictine abbey of Muchelney, its Anglo-Saxon predecessor and the Abbot’s residence - an early Tudor house in miniature.

Farleigh Hungerford Castle, Bath’s closest castle offers a different experience altogether. Discover its sinister past and relive the troubled history and crimes of those who inhabited it. Hidden treasures include rare medieval wall paintings and lead death masks in the crypt.
