Liz has been  Historic Environment Field Advisor for Greater London since 2003 and is part-time and home-based.

Historic Environment Field Advisors promote the appropriate and improved care of Scheduled Ancient Monuments by building up local contacts and giving positive management advice to owners, occupiers and managers. HEFAs monitor the condition of monuments, evaluate sites and seek appropriate solutions through negotiation and persuasion.

Liz says: “It is a wonderfully challenging role and a great privilege to be able to work with both fascinating sites and people all over London. No day is ever the same!”
