Enclosure discovered within the henge

Aerial photography in September 1995 revealed a previously unknown enclosure  within the henge. This section of the NMP plot for the area shows the newly discovered feature in blue together with evidence for a number of "missing" stones visible as parch marks in the grass. © English Heritage.
