Aerial View (c) Skyscan Balloon Photography

The classic Neolithic 'causewayed enclosure', with three concentric but intermittent ditches. Large quantities of animal bones found here indicate feasting, animal trading or rituals, or perhaps all three.

Part of the Avebury World Heritage Site.
