Our staff operate throughout England, but if you have an enquiry, your first point of contact should be a Senior Investigator at the Office which covers the area that concerns you - precise operational areas are listed below.

English Heritage's Archaeological Survey & Investigation Team offers one-year training placements through the EPPIC scheme (English heritage Professional Placements in Conservation). Future opportunities to participate in this programme will be advertised here and on BritArch. Depending on our work programmes and the nature of the sites we are tackling, we can also sometimes offer short-term placements for volunteers on individual projects.
