 Even the most dedicated cook could be forgiven for being distracted from the task in the kitchen at Fort House. The sweeping views over the Castle to the open sea, to Pendennis point in one direction and St Anthony Head in the other, are breathtaking. The house stands in a lane just above the castle and its prime location mean that sailors can enjoy watching the yachts coming and going into St Mawes harbour below, and walkers can enjoy the direct access to the South-West Coastal Path. The pretty harbour of St. Mawes is just ten minutes walk away.

Fort House has two double bedrooms, one with twin beds. There is a large sitting room with a wood burner, a dining room with the best views in St Mawes and a fully equipped kitchen. There is one bathroom with shower over bath and a separate cloakroom/ utility room.

As well as being ideally located for enjoying the Castle, beaches, pubs and restaurants of St Mawes, it is the views and terrace at Fort House you will remember. Soak up the sea air and sunshine in summer and watch the ever changing dramatic weather sweep in and out of the bay in winter.
