Many of the published English Heritage Guidance Papers can be found in the Historic Environment Local Management HELM Guidance Library

The GLAAS guidance papers have now been reviewed and rewritten, and these are now being revised as a result of consultation responses

These papers are intended to set basic standards for all archaeological endeavour in Greater London, to maintain the quality of such work, and to achieve consistent practices that will facilitate inter-site comparisons across the region.
