Festival Guidelines
To ensure everyone enjoys the best possible day and gets a good view of the arena and battlefield events, we ask all visitors to follow the guideline below.
- When visiting living history displays, please do not touch anything unless invited to do so by the performers
- For their safety, children must be kept under control.
- Any dogs at the festival should be kept on a lead at all times.
- Do not cross barriers unless invited to do so by the performers.
- Please be aware that some display involve loud gun and cannon fire.
- Be careful near horses, which can bite and kick when alarmed.
- Please use the litter bins provided.
- Visitor photography and filming is permitted for personal and non-commercial use only.
- English Heritage may permit filming and photography at its sites and during events. Some of this may be broadcast or published.
