Dover Excavation 2008

The Archaeological Projects team has been asked to plan an excavation in the Inner Bailey to answer questions about the early landscaping associated with the 12th-century square tower, and to examine the floor within Arthur’s Hall.  We hope to carry out the work in October.  This page will hold weekly progress updates once the work gets under way, so please check back to see the latest news.
