Archaeological Excavations in the Privy Garden/Inner Bailey

 In support of a major redesign of the Privy Garden by Chris Beardshaw, English Heritage's Archaeological Projects Team was asked to undertake small-scale research excavations to inform the project.

Following the first excavation in the Privy Garden in 2006, the Team returned to the site in 2008 to excavate a trench by the original entrance to the garden.
