Procurement Regulations
Public procurement regulations mean that if more than 50% of a project is publicly funded applicants to our grant schemes will have to demonstrate that they have appointed any professional advisers in a competitive way. You will also have to tender for the building contract.
If you would like/need to advertise for a professional adviser (such as an architect) you can download the following documents from this page:
Questions & Answers
Procurement guidance notes
Guidance on how to complete the advert for an architect/surveyor
Draft tender document
Invitation to tender letter template
Tender evaluation score sheet
Award of contract letter template.
We suggest you begin this process once you have sent us your application.
If you are successful in your application for a grant we will require you to submit documentation showing that your architect or surveyor was appointed in an openly advertised manner (such as a copy of the contract advert and a signed tender evaluation score sheet).
