Visiting the NMR

The NMR is one of the largest publicly accessible archives in the UK and the biggest dedicated to the historic environment. Opening Times

The Public Search Room is open Tuesday to Friday 09.30 - 17.00. We are closed on Mondays, Bank Holidays and over the Christmas and New Year period. 

Free parking is available at the NMR. We aim to make the archive as accessible as possible to all users; if you have any access requirements please contact us in advance.
