EPPIC internships

Archaeological Science EPPIC Internships were established in 2004, building on a project with the Institute for Archaeologists and the Cultural Heritage National Training Organisation (CHNTO) to use the National Occupational Standards in Archaeological Practice.

Case Study: Developing an Internship

To date our internships have covered zooarchaeology, archaeobotany and archaeoentomology and have been based either at Fort Cumberland or at the University of York. Our current EPPIC placement is  Stefanie Vincent (EPPIC placement in Human Osteology and stratigraphy). She is registered for an NVQ level 4.
