On-site training

We provide on-site training for our own projects.  Training includes a general introduction to the material and interpretative potential, in addition to site specific work:

• Archaeobotany and palynology: sampling and recovery techniques; sample recording; preservation, site and context types
• Geoarchaeology: geological analysis; soil description; texturing methods
• Human Osteology: sampling, recovery and excavation methods; skeleton recording
• Zooarchaeology: sampling and recovery; excavation methods (articulated/associated remains); field records

Expanding this programme may be considered in the future.
