Set on the hilltop overlooking the vale, this great XVII century castle looks more like something from a storybook than a mighty stronghold. Built by the powerful Cavendish family, the castle boasts a fairy tale Little Castle and unique horse riding school. Knights and their horses visit Bolsover on May bank holiday to kick off the tournament for 2006.
