Scarborough Castle, North Yorkshire General view with the sea in the background Perched on a cliff-top with superb views over the North Sea Coast, Scarborough Castle provides a fantastic location for heats 11 & 12 in the run-up to the Grand Final at Tynemouth. With an impressive history, stories of invasion of the castle date back to the Bronze Age and forwards to World War II, via Romans and Vikings.
