How to book an English Heritage Cottage

Booking an English Heritage Holiday Cottage is easy.

First go to Find a Holiday Cottage page to see which cottages are available for the dates you would like to stay and how long for, then pick a cottage from the available list. If you're flexible on dates, simply pick your favourite cottage and click through to the cottage page to see available stays.

Once clicked through to the cottage you'd like to stay at, click Book Now to view all the available dates and prices, the green dates on the calendar shows the availability. Once you're happy with your selection, click Book on the right hand side and follow the instructions to complete your booking. Alternatively, you email us at holidaycottages@english-heritage.org.uk or call our team on 0370 333 1181.

You will need to pay a deposit to secure a booking, which can be paid by credit or debit card, or by cheque. The deposit is one third of the total cost of your stay. Full payment is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. Once we have received this payment, full details of your cottage will be sent to you, along with directions of how to get there, where to collect your key from, and some handy local contacts.

All bookings are subject to VAT.
