This cottage, named after the 15 peacocks that live in the grounds of Kirby Hall, stands at the end of an avenue of horse chestnut trees. Pass through the two sets of grand gates and Peacock Cottage with its enclosed garden opens onto the hall's parklands.
The cottage has an enclosed garden with car parking for two cars and opens in to the parkland of the Kirby Hall, where peacocks freely roam the grounds. Once the public have gone home, explore the ruins of this once great house and wander around the recently restored great gardens with their elaborate 'cutwork' design, complete with statues and urns.Discover Kirby Hall
We loved our stay, it was such a lovely spot.

A stunning location, enjoyed waking up to nature, and having the privacy of the grounds to ourselves, making family memories.

We had a lovely, relaxing time at the cottage. It is a very pleasant location and the cottage is very cosy, well fitted out with everything we needed. The housekeeper and the staff at Kirby Hall were all charming and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others and will be revisiting in the future.
