Nympsfield Long Barrow stands high on the Cotswold scarp near Frocester, with spectacular views over the Severn Valley. Constructed in the Neolithic period, it has long been the subject of local legends.

Parking: Parking is available adjacent to the site.
How to find it: Nympsfield Long Barrow is located in Coaley Peak Viewpoint off the B4066 approx. 1/2 mile north of the crossroads for Frocester and Nympsfield. Please note the postcode is a guide only.
Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome.

Plan a Great Day Out
Coaley Peak is an excellent spot to enjoy a picnic, with plenty of tables and seating. Take a leisurely stroll around the Woodland Trust's beech wood, or walk a mile down the Cotswold Way to visit Uley Long Barrow, another fine example of a Neolithic chambered mound.
