Brodsworth Hall and Gardens
The play area is partially closed at the moment as we upgrade our play equipment. In the meantime we have garden games for you to enjoy. Please bear with us while we carry out the improvements.
We're taking you behind the scenes in our award-winning gardens this weekend. Take a tour with one of our experts, at 11am, 1pm or 3pm, to delve deeper into our beautifully restored Victorian gardens.
The brass band will be getting your toes tapping at 12pm and 2pm, and Peter Savage from Bowdens will be in the fern dell at 1.30pm to tell you tales of the Victorian fern craze.
Throughout the day see our team at work planting the summer bedding in the flower garden and feel free to ask them questions. Check out some of the mega machines we use to maintain the gardens too - they didn't have this kind of technology in the Victorian era!
Get green fingered planting sunflower seeds with the family and don't forget to pick up a 'garden scavenger' trail sheet from admissions to see what you can spot as you explore.
