Step back in time to the medieval era at Furness Abbey. Explore the medieval encampment and chat to the the villagers as they cook, work and go about their daily tasks.

Catch weaponry displays throughout the day and see birds of prey swooping and diving in the falconry shows. Find out more about traditional proffesions like basket weaving and stone masonry from our skilled craftspeople. Kids can enrol in sword school and if you're feeling hungry after all that, there will be a hog roast to dig into (at a small extra charge).

Please note that parking will be at Barrow Sixthform College for this event. Blue badge parking and drop off will be available at the abbey as usual.
