Re-enactors in uniform

Soak up the sights and sounds of the WW1 infantry and medical encampment courtesy of The Great War Society. Meet the infantry soldiers and watch them in training.

Enjoy performances from The Two Tommy's as they tell the story of the conscientious objectors who were kept in the cells here at Richmond Castle.

Little soldiers can also learn how to look after injured comrades on the battlefield!

11.30am      The Two Tommy's
Watch a performance from the The Two Tommy's as they bring to life the story of the conscientious objectors at Richmond. 

12.00pm      Children's drills!
Calling all little soldiers! Can you learn how to look after your injured comrades on the battlefield?

12.30pm      WW1 Medical
Learn how soldiers injured on the battlefield would have been treated from the battlefield, to their recovery at home.
