If you live in an old or interesting building, you may want to find out if English Heritage holds any information about it.  Many of our records are available online.

If you want to know about a particular listed building; registered park or garden; scheduled monument or historic battlefield site in England, you can find it on the National Heritage List for England.  In addition, Heritage Gateway contains links to more national and local records of England's historic sites.
