This role is all about people and helping visitors getting the most from their visit. This includes welcoming them on to site, aiding their visit by answering any questions and making the environment safe and ready to accomodate visitors.

Where & When

  • Yarmouth Castle, Quay Street, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, PO41 0PB.
  • The role would consist of a morning or afternoon session.
  • You can sign up for as many sessions as you would like to throughout the year, they are approximately 4 hours long
  • Sessions for this role are available throughout the year when the site is open to the public including weekdays, school holidays and bank holidays.

Who we're looking for

You’ll enjoy meeting people, have a friendly and approachable style and be a passionate ambassador for Yarmouth Castle. You will be able to communicate well with all age groups, and will be keen to learn about the history of Yarmouth Castle and share this knowledge with our visitors. If you have a gift for making people feel at home, this is for you.
