Discovery Visits at Castle Acre Priory
Book an expert-led interactive tour of the priory, aligned to support AQA History GCSE students studying the historic environment of Norman England.
Our Discovery Visit has been adapted to follow health and safety guidelines and will still offer your students a quality and fun learning experience.

Students will immerse themselves in Medieval history by investigating the buildings that were built in the Norman period. They’ll learn how to identify the different areas of the priory, listen to Gregorian music in the church, unpick symbols from the West Front and try their hand at sign language in the Refectory to learn all about what Norman life was really like.
