Daws Castle

The England Coast Path at Cleeve Hill in Watchet is closed for safety reason following an inspection of the cliff. To access Daws Castle from Watchet please follow the diversion signposted from Mill Street in Watchet. The diversion will rejoin the the coastal path on the B3191 and an alternative entrance to Daws Castle.

Access: The England Coast Path at Cleeve Hill in Watchet is closed for safety reasons following an inspection of the cliffs on the route. An alternative route is signposted from Mill Street in Watchet, re-joining the trail on the B3191 at Daws Castle. 

All users are reminded not to tresspass in the closed off area, and to follow the diverted route. While closure in please follow the diversion signs on the ground. Visit https://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/ for more information and access to an online map.

Facilities: There are shops, food outlets and toilets nearby in Watchet.

Dogs: Please keep dogs on leads.
