Wheelchair Access
Wheelchairs access in the house is restricted to the ground floor. North front door with ramp opened for wheelchair users (please ask at ticket office entrance). Two steps at ticket office. Large print transcript of inaccessible floors is available. Introductory film with subtitles available on ground floor.

Set down directly outside the house is permitted for mobility impaired visitors. Please inform the house before arrival.

Blue badge holders are permitted to park in front of the house.

There are a large number of memorial benches are located around the park for people to rest. Several chairs provided inside the house itself.
Pathways Surface And Gradients
Main driveway is concrete and flat. Slight gradient on lawn to the rear of the house. The upper floors are highly polished – assistance dogs may find them slippery. 66 acres of level ground, nearly all accessible on tarmac path or fairly smooth grass.
