Join us on the trail of Hailes Abbey, starting the day with an introduction to Hailes Abbey before setting out to explore the surrounding area. The circular walk will include visits to Hailes, Didbrook and Stanway Churches which contain relics from the Abbeys past. You will visit Cromwell's Seat - a folly which, according to local legend, marks the spot where Thomas Cromwell sat and watched the destruction of Hailes Abbey!
The tour will take in isolated areas over lunch time, please feel free to bring your own refreshments. Tea, coffee and cake at the end of the walk is included.
This event has been graded as moderate access as there will be plenty of walking over uneven ground.
