We are looking for a Volunteering and Participation Officer to join our team. The role is permanent part time, 28.8 or 21.6 hours per week as part of a job share. Working pattern can be discussed at interview.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and passionate volunteer management professional who is looking to start their journey or grow their experience of working in a national team.

As Volunteering and Participation Officer, you'll help us grow and shape our volunteering programmes in every department. This role offers great variety whether working with internal or external colleagues or supporting our own team of dedicated volunteers.

To be considered as a Volunteering and Participation Officer, you'll need:

- Experience of developing volunteer programmes which involves groups of volunteers in a variety of roles and across various locations

- Experience of formulating and sharing advice to colleagues, customers or clients on best practice in volunteer management

- Experience delivering training or working with groups of people.

- Excellent understanding of volunteering and participation best practice and ability to advocate this to colleagues
