Marble Hill is a beautiful Palladian villa set within 66 acres of outstanding riverside parkland near Richmond in West London.
The site has undergone a major revival through financial support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and English Heritage.
This role is all about people; helping people make the most out of their visit while based in the beautiful rooms at Marble Hill. During your shift you will provide a warm and friendly welcome for all visitors and actively engage with visitors in answering their questions, telling stories about the house and enabling opportunities for interaction to explain the new interpretation.

- Marble Hill, Richmond Road, Twickenham, London, TWI 2NL
- We hope you’re able to volunteer for at least one shift every two weeks, but this is flexible.
- Available shifts include Session 1: 9:30- 1:30, Session 2: 1:00- 5:00 or Whole day sessions from 9:30-5:00 (including a morning and afternoon tea break and 30 mins lunch.
Who we're looking for
We need people who have a friendly and enthusiastic manner and enjoy dealing with people of all ages and walks of life. You should be able to communicate well with all age groups and be confident using a radio (training will be provided). It would be great if you are keen to learn more about Marble Hill’s history and are happy to be on your own in our rooms with members of the public.
