Access information for the site is listed below. For more information, or if you have particular access needs, please contact us before you visit. Please note that some facilities may require booking in advance.

There is no advance booking available at Chysauster Ancient Village so you don’t need to book a ticket in advance.

If you are a Member, please remember to bring your English Heritage membership card with you.

Some of our sites can get very busy, especially on Bank Holidays. Our busiest times are between 11am and 2pm, so if you prefer to visit at a quieter time you may wish to visit outside of these hours.

There are two designated disabled spaces in the site car park, which cannot be pre-booked. The car park is located 1/4 mile downhill from the shop entrance (which includes steps) and roughly 1/2 mile from the main site.
