Live and breathe the story of England at royal castles, historic gardens, forts & defences, world-famous prehistoric sites and many others.
You now need to book timed-tickets in advance to visit Portland Castle. We have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe, and you won’t be able to visit without your booking confirmation. If you’re a Member, your ticket will be free, but you still need to book in advance.
You can only book for visits until 30 June. Tickets for visits after this date will go on sale as soon as we have more details of our opening arrangements. We’ll update this page when we have more information to share.Book your visit
